Vendor of the Week : Harrison Hog Farms

Originally founded to raise pork for family and friends, Allen Harrison has created quite the buzz about his quality pork in chefs circles with and foodies around Houston. Allen offers free range pork in a variety of cuts, all raised on his farm near Beasley. If you want a cut that he does not have, you can place a special order and pick it up at the market.

Vendor of the Week : Hatterman Poultry Farm

Located in Weimar, Texas, Hattermann Poultry Farms produces brown and white eggs laid by free-roaring hens. Leon is proud to tell you that his hens are fed with a combination of corn, bone meal, flax and a variety of vitamins. Flax seed is incorporated in the hens feed to increase Omega-3. In a lab report dated in January of 2009, the eggs have no trace of trans fat, high in Vitamin E and Omega-3.. Mr Hatterman will be bringing his green eggs laid by his araucana chickens.

Vendor of the Week : Cinnanuts

Gentry Wiliiams buys this seasons local pecans from our local farmers and roasts them following an old recipe from Bavaria using cinnamon, vanilla, and sugar. You can find Cinnanuts booth by following the aroma of freshly roasted pecans traveling through the market.

Vendor of the Week : Angela’s Oven

Angela’s Oven was started out of a passion to learn to bake. Jerry Shawn has worked with the best bakeries around town and has recently opened his own in the Heights on Aurora Street. Jerry and his wife Angela can be found manning the booth with their kids. Be sure and try one of their Danishes or breakfast scones. They also offer whole wheat muffins in addition to their full line of artisan breads.
