Friends of Texas Wildlife will hold a 2-hour introductory class on February 19th from 10am until noonat the Lone Star College/Tomball Community Library at 30555 Tomball Parkway. During this class, you will learn about Friends of Texas Wildlife and what the organization does. The class will define exactly what rehabilitation is, what’s involved in becoming a rehabber and whether or not it’s for you. If after attending this class you decide it’s something you’d like to pursue, you will be invited to attend a training classon March 5th from 10am to 3pm at the Tomball library. The class will discuss the care of sick, injured or orphaned wildlife with the objective of returning them back to the wild and it will summarize the different species cared for and the time commitment involved in caring for these animals. Depending on your own circumstances, you will be able to choose which animal you would best be suited to help.

If you decide to join Friends of Texas as a rehabilitator, you will need to bring $50 to the March 5th meeting which is the membership fee. Lunch will be served on March 5th.
