  1. New Member – Houston History Archives. CEC Houston would like to welcome Houston History Archives as a new member. Houston History Archives, part of the Houston History Project, collects materials related to Houston’s growth and development, with particular interest in environmental, energy, and ethnic history.   2. New Member – Great Plains Restoration Council. CEC Houston would like to welcome Great Plains Restoration Council as a new member. Great Plains Restoration Council helps troubled young people save and restore their shattered lives through saving and restoring prairies and plains.   3. New Armand Bayou Nature Center Program. The Armand Bayou Nature Center is beginning a new program in January 2011. The “Sundays in Nature Series” will take place each third Sunday of the month.
