Description: KPC invites volunteers of all ages to its 1st Annual Wildflower Planting and Seed Stomp at its new Matt Cook Memorial Wildlife Viewing Platform. We’ll be planting volunteer-grown native wildflowers and grasses along a trail leading down to the platform.
This event is the prairie’s version of a tree planting — a chance to get outside and help make sure the prairie is awash with its famous wildflowers in the springtime. October is spectacular at Warren Lake, with many of the fall migratory birds coming back, and the weather crisp enough to enjoy the outdoors.
