Description: Hosted by Harris County Judge Ed Emmett, the Houston Chapters of the Institute of Real Estate Management announces the date for the 25th Annual Charity Golf Tournament benefiting Harris County Protective Services (HCPS). This year’s event will be held on September 27 at Sweetwater Country Club. The Tournament was developed in 1986 and has since become one of the largest Charity Tournaments in Houston.

As the largest single contributor to HCPS over the years, this Tournament has raised over a million dollars for this worthy cause. HCPS serves approximately 3,000 children and teens each month. Past donations have enabled the charity to open their new Youth Recreation Center on Chimney Rock, to purchase a van, dental x-ray equipment, computer equipment, educational materials, and to provide CPS case workers with emergency supplies such as diapers, formula, new clothing, new shoes, school supplies, and other needed items which would otherwise be unavailable for these underprivileged children.
