Description: The relationship between the U.S. and German green technologies

One of the top green building trends for 2010 and beyond is the emergence and application of international technologies into the United States economy. How to apply these technologies in a different economy and culture always proves challenging – sometimes more than the creation of the technology itself.

Join Jan Wiedemann and Julia Zimmermann of the German-America Chamber of Commerce of the Southern United States discuss how they are working with companies and industries to create synergy and opportunity between these two countries.

Also learn about their commitment to the USGBC Texas Gulf Coast as our communities become more aware of the benefits of LEED, green energy and other technologies that the U.S. Green Building Council supports locally, nationally and globally.

The venue, light snacks, and beverages will be provided courtesy of Kirksey Architects.
