Description: Early confirmed speakers include:

Richard Martin with the Louisiana Chapter of The Nature Conservancy is joining us in Texas on Thursday April 22 to speak about his carbon sequestration work within the Lower Mississippi Valley.

Nicole Virgilio with the Worldwide Office of the Conservancy will speak about quality control in carbon project design.

Joe White of Baylor University will speak about the relationship between carbon sequestration and prescribed fire, addressing the constraints on above and below-ground plant carbon inputs, soil characteristic impacts, land management, and disturbance.
