Description: Communities have a responsibility to reduce, reuse and recycle solid waste in a way that is both environmentally- and economically-conscious. This workshop focuses on ways to dispose of disaster-generated debris while simultaneously reducing your environmental footprint.
The Houston-Galveston Area Council (H-GAC) invites you and your colleagues to the fourth of a series of Debris Management Planning workshops. Topic: Best Practices to Properly Dispose of Disaster Debris, with speakers Mark Rose and Chuck Rivette. Agenda items include end markets for disaster debris and disposing of special wastes.
There is no charge for this event. Registration is required on-line.
H-GAC encourages participation from private industry in this series, however, the primary audience is local governments. Available space for attendees is limited. As the popularity of the workshops series grows, H-GAC reserves the right to limit participation to local governments. Thank you for your understanding.
