Description: Discover Oceans! A free day of fun and discovery for the entire family, brought to you by National Oceanic & Atmospheric Administration (NOAA). Featuring Science on a Sphere – a 6-foot-diameter globe that brings complex concepts to life by animating scientific data. Watch atmospheric storms move across the globe or observe the ocean as surface temperatures change. Come enjoy hands-on activities that illustrate real science, see the sea turtles in the grow-out facility, talk to the scientists, educators, law enforcement officers and managers responsible for the many services NOAA provides the community.

Additional Info: There will be no food or drink vendors at the event. Handicap parking available on the grounds. All other parking outside the fence along Ave. U on north side of the facility and Ft. Crockett Blvd on South side. Most activities will be inside the various buildings.
