CHILDREN AT RISK has led the fight in Texas to change state policy on human trafficking, having passed two bills encompassing 10 human trafficking issues in the last legislative session. To further the struggle to save children, CHILDREN AT RISK, through our Public Policy and Law Center, has created the Center to End Trafficking and Exploitation of Children, a multi-disciplinary, action-based institute that will work to generate solutions to this crisis through policy, advocacy, education, and collaboration.
