Description: Garden dedication part of nationwide campaign to reduce hunger through gardening.

Dedication of the new Westbury Community Garden with the planting of raised garden beds. Portions of the produce from the Westbury Community Garden will be donated to local food agencies and community hunger relief organizations.

The Westbury Community Garden is excited to join the “Give Back To Gro” national gardening program and focus its growing season on giving back to the community by donating a portion of the harvest to local food agencies. Fifty raised garden beds will be established to educate residents on growing fresh produce and fostering community spirit.
