The fortune of a city can be told by looking at its youngest generation… How is Houston faring in its efforts to protect and educate its children? This six-week course will provide a comprehensive overview of the state of Houston’s children and an inside look at Houston’s key nonprofits that are working to solve social concerns related to children. Designed for interested community members and the philanthropic community, this course will investigate issues affecting children from a social-investment viewpoint as well as through a prism of social solutions and hard data.
