16th Annual Migration Celebration

Title: 16th Annual Migration Celebration
Location: San Bernard National Wildlife Refuge
Link out: Click here
Description: The Annual Migration Celebration is held each spring in southern Brazoria County, Texas. Migration Celebration is held by the Friends of the Brazoria Wildlife Refuges in cooperation with the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service’s Texas Mid-Coast National Wildlife Refuge Complex.

We will be having a tour of the Dow Woods site on April 18 as part of Migration Celebration. See Sunday “Schedule” or “Amazing Adventures”. Also, note that our Friday speaker is Ross Melinchuk, Deputy Executive Director, Texas Parks and Wildlife Department. His talk is titled “Texas – the State of Coastal Waters”. My understanding is this includes discussions on the Brazos and San Bernard Rivers. Also, lots of free, fun things to do on Saturday and Sunday.
Start Date: 2010-04-16
End Date: 2010-04-18
