Description: A school recycling program can provide learning opportunities through lessons about resources, waste management, and even economics of supply and demand. It can also teach parents and other members of the community to change their disposal habits. And – it’s the law! The 1991 Texas legislative session passed Senate Bills 1340 and 1051 which had several components affecting Texas schools.
This workshop is designed to teach school district administrators how to plan and promote a school recycling program.
