CHILDREN AT RISK will once again bring together key leaders in the Faith Community for an update on critical children’s issues. During our lunch session we will present a progress report, plans and collaboration opportunities for the 2010 Week of Prayer for Children, unite in informed prayer, and create an agenda for change for the children of our city.
Join us as Dr. Robert Sanborn, President and CEO of CHILDREN AT RISK, updates the faith community on top children’s issues, such as, Houston’s Changing Demographics, Human Trafficking, Food Insecurity and Hunger, Mental Health and Juvenile Justice, and Quality of Public Education and Dropouts.
This discussion will be followed by prayer sessions led by Dave Peterson, Memorial Drive Presbyterian Church, and Jim Herrington, Mission Houston.
