Description: Houston Audubon and the Outdoor Nature Club are teaming up to present Doug Tallamy. Tallamy will discuss how native plants sustain wildlife in our gardens. Doug Tallamy is a professor and the chair of the Entomology and Wildlife Ecology department at the University of Delaware, where he has been studying insects and their role in the environment for over 20 years. His book, “Bringing Nature Home: How Native plants Sustain Wildlife in Our Gardens,” has been featured in the New York Times.
