Birds: A Collection of Verse and Vision. Jim Blackburn and Isabelle Scurry Chapman invite you to the opening of the exhibition of Isabelle’s art and Blackburn’s poetry at the Art League of Houston. There will be a poetry reading and discussion with Blackburn and Chapman on Monday, September 21 at 7:00 p.m. Do not park at Texas Art Supply next door. Isabelle’s art will be on display and Blackburn’s poem about the bird will be hung next to that bird. The exhibition will be open until October 30. You can also purchase a copy of the book Birds: A Collection of Verse and Vision at the Art League. Co-Hosted by the Houston Audubon’s Night Owls, a young professionals for conservation group.
