Bay Day!

As the official start of summer nears, The Galveston Bay Foundation hosts the 15th Annual Bay Day Festival on Saturday, May 16, from 11a.m.-5 p.m. at the Kemah Boardwalk.  The family event will feature live entertainment, interactive exhibits, puppet shows, educational Bay cruises, and a scavenger hunt.   More than forty exhibitor booths will be displayed in the plaza areas of the Boardwalk.  Featured acts include Bill Oliver, Billy B, and the Calliope Puppets.  Children will have fun learning about the importance of the Bay in our everyday life at exhibitor booths including Galveston Bay Estuary Program, Anahuac National Wildlife Refuge, Baytown Nature Center, Gulf Coast Turtle and Tortoise Society, Reliant Energy, Surfrider Foundation and more.  A complete list of entertainment events and Exhibitors will be available at the Galveston Bay Foundation booth near the main stage. http://www.galvbay.org.
