Marsh Mania registration is now open!

Register now to secure your space in Galveston Bay Foundation’s nationally-recognized, signature community-based wetlands restoration and education event.

Locations for Saturday, April 25 include Snake Island Cove and Isla del Sol on Galveston Island; Nassau Bay Peninsula, Clear Lake Area; and Texas City Prairie Preserve in Texas City.  Volunteer activities will include cordgrass and seagrass planting, debris/trash pick-up, and even cooking!  The age requirement in Isla del Sol and Nassau Bay is 8 years old,  Snake Island Cove  is 18, and Texas City Prairie Preserve is 15.   A second Marsh Mania event will be held at Anahuac National Wildlife Refuge and Baytown Nature Center on Saturday, May 30.   For additional details and registration: http://galvbay.org/events_marsh.html
