CANOE CYPRESS OR SPRING CREEKS NEXT WEEKEND

Jesse H. Jones Park and Nature Center is hosting two canoe tours next weekend. On Saturday, January 24, beginning at 9 am, canoe Cypress Creek on an extended trip from Cypresswood Drive to Jones Park. On Sunday, enjoy Spring Creek from Jones Park to San Jacinto River. This trip that starts at 1 pm is great for beginner canoeists. Both trips are open to individuals ages 16 and older, and the Sunday trip is open to visitors ages 10 to 15 with previous Junior Canoe Training.
