‘TEXAS OIL: LANDSCAPE OF AN INDUSTRY’ OPENS FRIDAY

Buffalo Bayou Partnership, The University of Houston Cynthia Woods Mitchell Center for the Arts, and Blaffer Gallery, the Art Museum of the University of Houston, are presenting a multifaceted, collaborative project that features several works inspired by Buffalo Bayou and the Turning Basin produced by The Center for Land Use Interpretation. The first of several events featuring the works is the opening reception for ‘Texas Oil: Landscape of an Industry’ at Blaffer Gallery on Friday, January 16 from 6 to 8 pm. The exhibition will be on display until March 29. The reception is free and open to the public.
