READY FOR THE NEW YEAR

We are pleased to announce that hard copies of our 2008/09 Resource Guide are now available. Call the office at (713) 534-4232. We have many new member groups, updated information about elected officials and a greatly improved index. America’s Star Copier at 1701 Durham printed the books and they are beautiful and green. We got great quality work and terrific service! The guide is also available as a PDF on the CEC website.Also, we have new-to-us computers and lots of new software. Many, many thanks to Kirksey for the computers and to John Avritt and Vince Wood of Round Rock Solutions for a great job converting and upgrading our office systems.

Our Annual Meeting will be Tuesday, February 24th, from 6 to 7:30 pm. There will be a business meeting followed by a talk by prominent architect John Kirksey, a leader in educating the business community about the benefits of green building and the business issues involved in global climate change. The location will be announced later.
