ENERGY SAVING SUPPORT GROUPS FORMING

The City of Houston, American Institute of Architects, and Greener Living for Houston are hosting study groups about how to save $1,000 a year on your home and transportation energy bills. Did you know that just airing up tires will improve gas mileage by 3 miles per gallon? Have you wanted to caulk your house or install a radiant barrier but weren’t sure how? Each group will have an architect in each group who can help and neighbors who can give you tips. Groups will have four evening sessions. Two groups will start on Monday, August 18th, at 6 pm. One group meets at Looscan Library, 2510 Willowick and the other meets at the Montrose library, 4100 Montrose.
