SEMINAR ON NEWEST IN ENERGY SAVING VEHICLES IS THURSDAY
Engineers Without Borders is hosting “Latest Developments in Hybrid and Electric Vehicles”, on Thursday, August 7 at 3015 Richmond, Suite 260 from 6 to 8:30 pm. The presentation will be: Hybrid Vehicles: The State of the Technology and the Marketplace by Mustapha Beydoun and A Summary of Electric Vehicle Technology – Its Advantages and Limitations by Richard Gerhold and Bill Logan. There is a fee of $30 ($20 for EWB Members), which includes a light meal is provided. RSVP to acuclis@harc.edu is required.Mustapha Beydoun is a research scientist at the Houston Advanced Research Center (HARC). He works primarily with air quality, transportation, and energy related projects. He holds a PhD in City and Regional Planning. Richard Gerhold has a thirty-year career in electronic product development. He is a member of the Houston Electric Automobile Association (HEAA) and on the planning committee for the electric vehicle workforce training program at Lone Star College – CyFair. Bill Logan is an electrical engineer with more than 30 years experience in the oil and petrochemical industry and is also a member of HEAA.
