MARSH MANIA RETURNS
On Saturday, May 31, join volunteers with Galveston Bay Foundation at Marsh Mania – a Saturday morning of planting marsh grass to restore habitat in Galveston Bay. The planting sites will be at Anahuac National Wildlife Refuge, Armand Bayou Nature Center, Chocolate Bay, and Texas City Prairie Preserve. After the planting, volunteers will get lunch and a (clean and dry) t-shirt. Students, families, corporate groups, youth groups, and individuals are welcome to help. Volunteers who would rather stay clean and dry can work at check-in booths, site set-up, or food stations. For details and to register, go to the Foundation’s website.
