SPACE CENTER HOUSTON SEEKS STAFF FOR SUMMER PROGRAMS

Space Center Houston has openings for a lead instructor and instructors for its education camp. The lead instructor will assist with the planning, development and implementation of fee-based educational programs at Space Center Houston, function as a manager during educational activities staffed by Educational Programs Instructors, and set up, conduct, and engage guests in educational activities as part of the Center’s fee-based educational programs. Qualifications: A minimum of 60 hours of college credit in Education, Science, Dramatic Arts, Child Development, Psychology or a related field preferred. Previous teaching or instructor experience preferred. Must be available to work 32-40 hours per week, including some flexibility with nights and weekends from mid-May to mid-August.

Education camp instructors supervise and guide campers and/or school groups during educational day camp activities. Qualifications: A minimum of 15 hours of college credit in Education, Science, Dramatic Arts, Child Development, Psychology or a related field preferred
