GET GREEN AT THE WOODLANDS EARTH DAY FESTIVAL

The Woodlands Earth Day Festival on Saturday, April 12 will make it easy to go green. This year’s theme, It’s all connected!, focuses attention on personal actions that make a big difference. More than 70 exhibitors and activities will showcase green trends, share conservation tips, reveal the diversity of nature, and highlight energy-saving technology. Free games, crafts, and hands-on activities at the Ecology Carnival connect kids to the earth-friendly conservation message. Hosted by Conroe Independent School District, the festival and most activities are free of charge. Earth Day is organized by Community Associations of The Woodlands and The Woodlands G.R.E.E.N. Festivities begin at 10 am and run until 3 pm at The Woodlands High School, 6101 Research Forest Dr. For more information call (281) 210-3900 or see the association’s website
