EARTH SHARE CONTRIBUTION AT HEB HELPS LOCAL GROUPS

CEC, Galveston Bay Foundation, SPARK, Endangered Species Media Project, Bayou Preservation Association and Katy Prairie Conservancy, as well as many statewide groups, are members of Earth Share of Texas, a workplace giving federation. Now, we have another way to receive Earth Share contributions. HEB customers may donate to Earth Share of Texas all month by using a chit from a tear-off-pad at the cash register and adding $1, $3, or $5 to their grocery bill. The money will go to Earth Share of Texas and be split evenly by the members. HEB did this last April in its Central Texas stores and gave Earth Share a check for $25,000 at the end of the campaign.
