KEEP HOUSTON BEAUTIFUL DAY 2008 MINI GRANTS AVAILABLE

Keep Houston Beautiful, in partnership with First Community Credit Union, is accepting applications for small grants ($500 each) to help clean up and beautify neighborhoods. The grants focus on litter prevention, recycling, and graffiti abatement and are available to any civic group, school and/or non-profit organization within Houston city limits. Applications are due March 3. Projects may be completed anytime between April 5, 2008 and May 31, 2008. For more information, see Houston Beautiful’s website.
