Urban Harvest’s Bayou City Farmers’ Market has cancelled its Wednesday market, but the Saturday market will continue. It is from 8 am to noon, behind the building at 3000 Richmond.

If you’ve gotten the urge to do some farming yourself, check out Urban Harvest’s Farm To Market Road Workshop on Tuesday, February 19, from 9 am to 4 pm, at United Way, 50 Waugh Drive. The workshop is full day of programs geared towards farming, revitalizing regional agriculture, and edible gardening. There will also be exhibitors with booths featuring farm and garden products, tools, and information about interesting techniques and resources.
