SUSTAINABLE TRANSPORTATION TALK THURSDAY

The Sierra Club meeting on Thursday, February 7, will feature two researchers from the Houston Advanced Research Center talking about sustainable transportation. Dr. Mustapha Beydoun concentrates on the issues of sustainable transportation, vehicle emissions, urban air pollution and transportation planning and related topics. David Hitchcock is the Director of Sustainable Transportation Programs and has more than 25 years of experience in urban development, energy, and environmental issues. He is a past director of the Joint Center for Urban Mobility Research at Rice Center. The meeting begins at 7 pm at Central Presbyterian Church, 3788 Richmond at Timmons. The meeting is free and open to the public.
