“LET’S TALK ORGANICS” WITH STEVE DIVER ON JANUARY 29

The Organic Horticulture Business Association’s first meeting of the New Year is Tuesday, January 29, from 5 to 8 pm, at the Houston Arboretum, 4501 Woodway. Steve Diver, a nationally recognized organic researcher and programs consultant, will be the speaker. He is a technical advisor for Sustainable Growth Texas, a biological farming company. His program will include a general overview of going organic, transitioning from chemicals to organics, how to build a sustainable program that integrates organics with chemicals, soil biology, and what chemicals to always avoid. The program, which includes dinner, is $35 for members, $50 for non-members. To register, go to the association’s website.
