ANIMAL KEEPER WANTED

Armand Bayou Nature Center is looking for a captive animal supervisor. The closing date for the position is January 18th. The candidate must have at least a high school education or GED and one year relevant experience in a zoo, wildlife rehabilitation or veterinary clinic. This staffer is responsible for all aspects of care for the living exhibits at ABNC. This collection includes reptiles (snakes, turtles and alligators) and bison. Responsibilities include enclosure cleaning, feeding, scheduling veterinarian exams, record keeping, permit management, and public education.
