COUNCIL FOR ENVIRONMENTAL EDUCATION HAS OPENINGS

CEE is a non-profit educational organization formed in 1970 to provide environmental education programs and services that promote stewardship of the environment and further the capacity of learners to make informed decisions. CEE administers national programs including Project WILD, Project WILD Aquatic, WET in the City, Team WET Schools, and Flying WILD. Its offices are in the Rice Village area of Houston. The CEE is seeking a director for Project WILD. Qualifications include at least a BA or BS in education, environmental education, curriculum design and development, natural resources, or related field, and a minimum of six years related work experience. Significant administrative, fundraising, budgetary, management and supervision experience is required.

There is also an opening for a manager for the Flying WILD national bird education initiative. A key function of the position will be to build the Flying WILD City Partner Network. A minimum of three years in program administration is required. B.A. or B.S. degree in education, environmental education, curriculum and instruction, natural resources or related field is required.
