CITY SOUNDSCAPES ON THE BAYOU THURSDAY
The final performance in the three-part City Soundscapes series presented by Buffalo Bayou Partnership and the UH Cynthia Woods Mitchell Center for the Arts will be Thursday, December 5 from 7-10pm on the banks of Buffalo Bayou below the Sabine Promenade. The performance is “DeKam vs Nalepaâ€, a one-time-only, site-specific, light and sound installation created by Portland-based video artist / software designer Johnny DeKam and Los Angeles-based composer / laptop musician Steve Nalepa. Bring a picnic or purchase food and wine on site. Boat rides are also available. Blankets and lawn chairs, canoes and kayaks are encouraged. For more information, see the Partnership’s website.
