CEC UPDATE WINS AWARD

The Citizens’ Environmental Coalition’s weekly email publication, Environmental News Update, will be receiving the Park People’s Media Award in recognition of outstanding media coverage of parks, open space and recreational issues. The award will be presented on January 17, at the Park People’s annual meeting. Award winners will also be recognized at the annual awards dinner on March 12. The Park People is a not-for-profit citizens’ organization that advocates for and participates in restoring, preserving and expanding parks, natural areas and trails for present and future generations.
