“BRIDGING THE PARK” DESIGN CHARETTE

The Rice Design Alliance Partners 2007 Design Charette challenge is to propose a design to unite the north and south parts of Memorial Park via a pedestrian bridge. Participants are asked to design a bridge that will serve as a landmark for the city and connect an existing bike path along Memorial Drive. The optional site tour is this Saturday, July 14th, from 2 to 5 pm at the Houston Arboretum. For more information, or to sign up, go to RDA’s website.
