BLUE MOON CELEBRATION
Buffalo Bayou Partnership is celebrating the second full moon this month (the blue moon) which happens on May 31, with a party at the Sabine-to-Bagby Promenade. Activities include stargazing, boat rides, storytelling and more. Houston Museum of Natural Science’s Discovery Dome will be on hand, there will be performers and astrology readers to entertain you, and students from TUTS will perform a musical production from Schoolhouse Rock at 7 pm. Buffalo Bayou ArtPark will showcasing the latest art installation along the bayou. Bring a picnic or purchase food and drinks on site. Bring your own blanket or lawn chair. This is the first of a series of nighttime activities throughout the year to highlight the new downtown park as the night unfolds and dramatic trail lights appear.
