POET MARY OLIVER IN HOUSTON APRIL 16
Pulitzer Prize and National Book Award winner poet Mary Oliver will read her work on Monday, April 16, at the Alley Theatre, 615 Texas Avenue, at 7:30 pm. General admission tickets are $10. Oliver’s work is famous for its lyrical connection to the natural world. Stanley Kunitz says, “Mary Oliver’s poetry is fine and deep; it reads like a blessing.
