TOWN HALL MEETING ON HOUSTON’S ENERGY FUTURE IS TUESDAY

Houston mayor Bill White is hosting a town hall meeting on Houston’s energy future on Tuesday, March 6, at 6:30 pm at St. Paul’s United Methodist Church, Fondren Hall, 5501 Main Street. Scientific, religious, and industry experts will discuss cleaner, cheaper energy options; advanced energy technologies and job growth; clean air and water; reducing global warming; and protecting community health.Speakers will include: Tim Bradley, President, Kinder Morgan C02 Company LP Dr. Bob Pierce, Memorial Drive United Methodist Church Joel Serface, Austin Clean Energy Incubator

The program is co-sponsored by Citizens’ Environmental Coalition, Natural Resources Defense Council, Office of Mayor Bill White, Texas Association of Bass Clubs, Texas Black Bass Association, and Texas Impact: People of Faith Working for Justice.
