CLEAN TO HOLD ENVIRONMENTAL WRITING WORKSHOP

Citizens’ League for Environmental Action is giving a free environmental writing workshop on March 9 from 11 am to 1 pm at 5120 Woodway, Suite 9004. The goal of the workshop is to build the essential skills necessary for environmental reporting. Participants will be introduced to the basics of what news is, how it is processed and learn how to develop a story idea, how to conduct interviews, and much more. The workshop is an opportunity to get trained and get involved in reporting local news affecting the environment. The workshop, including lunch, is free but space is limited so attendees must RSVP to (713) 524-3000.
