BROWNFIELDS/WATER/SOIL ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGER
The City of Houston, Mayor’s Office of Health and Environmental Policy, seeks a professional to manage the Brownfields Redevelopment Program and also to provide analytic, programmatic and policy support on environmental issues relating to water and soil. The brownfields program works to facilitate the redevelopment of abandoned or under-utilized properties for the improvement of Houston neighborhoods. The successful candidate will have a bachelor’s degree and a minimum of four years’ work experience in a relevant field. Graduate degree in environmental science, law, engineering, or related fields a plus. Excellent oral and written communication skills are essential.
