EXPERIENCED DEVELOPMENT DIRECTOR WANTED

Katy Prairie Conservancy, a nonprofit land trust working to protect the Katy Prairie on Houston’s west side, seeks an experienced development director to work with KPC’s executive director and volunteers to shape and implement a plan to meet annual and longer term fundraising goals. Initial emphasis will be on recruiting a fundraising committee, developing a major donor program to significantly increase individual support, and expanding and diversifying KPC’s foundation base. The ideal candidate will have four to six years’ experience in nonprofit fundraising, including major gifts, and a proven record of accomplishment.
