CELEBRATE ARBOR DAY IN A BIG WAY
The City of Houston, Trees for Houston, Texas Department of Transportation, and other groups are gathering teams of volunteers to plant 20,000 trees on Will Clayton Parkway from 8 am to noon on Saturday, Jan 27. The event will be the largest volunteer tree planting in Houston history. Training will be provided. Volunteers are asked to bring round-pointed shovels, gloves, and rakes, and to wear work clothes.
