“BUSINESS CASE FOR GREEN DEVELOPMENT” WORKSHOP THURSDAY

The US Green Building Council, Greater Houston Area Chapter, is sponsoring a half-day workshop by Jerry Yudelson, “The Business Case for Green Development,” on Thursday, Nov 8. Yudelson is a recognized green building and marketing expert. He will discuss reasons for the market growth of green buildings and green developments, why owners and developers are moving so rapidly to take advantage of green growth, and how green properties are marketed successfully. The workshop will also discuss how attendees can profit from this new market trend. The event is targeted to real estate, finance, construction, and design professionals of all stripes. The workshop will be held at The United Way, 50 Waugh Drive, from 8 am to 1 pm. Breakfast and lunch are included in the $100 fee. Register at USGBC’s website.
