ENVIRONMENTAL EDUCATORS TO MEET WEDNESDAY

The Environmental Educators’ Exchange invites its members and any other interested parties to the EEE meeting on Wednesday, Nov 1, from 5:30 to 7:30 pm at Crockett Elementary, 2112 Crockett Street. There will be a tour of the school-yard habitat project and a discussion with Alice Nance, the new education director of National Wildlife Federation. Nance has proposed that EEE devise an outdoor habitat coalition to serve HISD schools in the development and construction of school-yard habitats and train teachers to better use existing habitats.
