SUSTAINABLE FISHERIES WORKSHOPS

The Ocean Conservancy and the Gulf Restoration Network will hold free sustainable fisheries workshops in Houston and Galveston on Wednesday and Thursday. Fish management experts will talk about what’s needed to turn the tide toward sustainable Gulf fisheries. Refreshments will be provided. The Houston event will be Wednesday, Oct 25, from 6:30 to 8:30 pm at La Tapatia Restaurant, 1749 Richmond Ave. The Galveston event will be Thursday, Oct 26, from 6:30 – 8:30 pm at Hotel Galvez, 2024 Seawall Blvd. Please RSVP by e-mailing bblome@oceanconservancy.org or calling 1-877-OUR-GULF.
