SYNERGY RECEPTION A GREAT SUCCESS

On Tuesday, Oct 10, more than one hundred guests gathered at the Crowne Plaza Houston to honor recipients of the CEC’s 2006 Synergy Awards. Master of ceremonies Larry Joe Doherty presented Mary Van Kerrebrook, Dick Smith, Katz Coffee, Barbara Tharp (accepting for the ECOS Program at Baylor College of Medicine), Steve Hupp, Woody Woodrow, and Mary Ellen Whitworth with their awards.

Attendees enjoyed a vegetarian buffet supper, music by Moodafaruka, and spirited bidding on more than fifty silent auction items.
