BIONEERS CONFERENCE NEXT WEEKEND
The Texas Bioneers conference will take place Oct 20 – 22 at the University of Houston – Main Campus. Bioneers are biological pioneers working with nature to heal both nature and themselves. The Bioneers conference is the preeminent gathering of visionaries with practical solutions for restoring the earth. Sponsoring groups include the CEC and CEC member groups, Blackwood Educational Land Institute, Galveston Bay Conservation and Preservation Association, The Nature Conservancy, and Urban Harvest.
Local speakers include Richie Ahuja, Jim Blackburn, Brandi Clark, Shib Nath De, Gwen Foster, ND, David Heroy, PhD, Madalene Hill, Kenneth Knezick, Jennifer Lorenz, Natalie Marquis, Reverend Jeremy Rutledge, and LaVerne Williams, AIA. There will be a satellite feed from the national Bioneers conference, with speakers such as Carl Anthony, Spencer Beebe, and Amy Goodman.
