NATURAL SCIENCE EDUCATOR NEEDED AT MATAGORDA

The Lower Colorado River Authority seeks a natural science educator to work at Matagorda Nature Park. The employee will maintain, facilitate, and develop age/grade-level appropriate programs for Pre-K to 12th grade. He or she will provide interactive and hands-on instruction in environmental topics, with emphasis on the coastal setting, including but not limited to biology, oceanography, marine science, hydrology, botany, geology, energy, energy usage, and Texas history. Other duties include assisting in the facilitation of recreational/scout programs, including set up and take down of river rafting, kayak trips, and other program supplies.
